A Love Story with No Expectations.

Every week we make it a point to go to the library so we can borrow up to ten DVDs each. After all it's free to rent and it sure beats watching useless programs that i don't understand anyway.

And when J and i watch movies, we make it a point to switch the German subtitles on.

Although i never used to like them on. They used to annoy the crap out of me because i would spend half the time trying to read the words rather than pay attention to the actual scenes.

Geez how Time has changed...

I actually now don't mind that the subtitles are switched on since it forces me to learn more German words. OMG what is wrong with me?

Yes, i did say learn more German words. But then again, i did say "forces" too.

Secretly i'm hoping those words would just lodge themselves into the deepest corners of my brain for when i'm forced to dribble, in what i think is actually German.

So anyway, tonight i got to choose what we were going to watch and having watched endless sci-fi and action films the last few days, i suggested a loooOooove story. I couldn't find a trailer without the Spanish subtitles but it proves my point about how distracting those white letters are at the bottom of the screen.

And if you haven't seen it already, it's a love story with no expectations. Griffin & Phoenix was released in 2006, so it's quite an old movie but one that i hadn't heard of.

It's definitely a chicks' flick and the kind of movie that makes you go "awwww" and want to cuddle up to someone you fancy or love. Be prepared to shed a few tears, well i did. Damn waterworks got me three times!

I'm such a girl.
