So last night as most of you have guessed, i was at Ruums last night [10 June 2006]. Yes it was the first time the boys were playin at the new club. It started off quite slow [i blame it on the worldcup... and although i'm not a football fanatic... at all, i was confident that England was going to win, only 1 goal, so it wasn't thaaaaaat exciting].
So when i arrived about 10.30pm the resident DJ was playing some tunes and by the time the game finished people started filling up the place. By 11.30pm Drive was up on the console and already there was a decent amount of people lining up outside... apparently it was a lot worse before i took this pic.
Advise: Get there early next time...

And before i knew it, the place was filled with a mix of all sorts of people. Everyone seemed to have a good time... smiles were exchanged and the alcohol was being consumed. Laughter, hugs, hand shakes and dancing was goin' on. There wasn't any hostility and people were there to have a good time. And one particular woman grabbed everyones' attention with her butt swaying red dressed self...
...left, right, left, right, left, right...I was busy schmoozing and pimpin' Hardsequence to random strangers. I swear, feed me alcohol and my confidence level escalates. Absolutely shameless i am... ahahha. So there i was asking people if they were having a good time... and it was good to hear positive feedback.
Yeah!So i continued to pimp myself as one of the promoters [yes my number is on the flyer: Christina]. Going from one end of the club to the other and eyeing out individuals who had enough energy to withstand the driving beats. Occassionaly bumping into my mates that were plotted all over the place... sharing a few drinks and doing a bit of camwhoring. [Thanks Lainey for lending me your camera... to be continued].
By the time it was 3am, Didjital was playing the last track and there was a HUGE group of LB people up in the VIP area [upstairs]... some dude called Jeffrey was celebrating his birthday and the whole clan was there to celebrate... apparently they opened 10 Magnums... holy fuck. They were all chanting their slogan and revving up their spirits and even the birthday boy went up on the stage [for what, i have no idea]. I went upstairs and attempted to pimp HS to them and although a few were interested, there were many who gave me strange looks and almost annoyed that i invaded their space. Oh well... it's your loss, not mine.

Melvin + winkrisEventually we all packed up and headed to the carpark so i could get the flyers off Didjital so i could distribute them to the other promoters. And still quite intoxicated and quite merry despite being stuck in a traffic jam. A kancil was infront of the car and a bunch of guys [obviously amused by my cheesy grins and random hand movements] whipped out their camera and took pics of me shamelessly posing like a japanese tourist. Still stuck in a jam, i told lainey i was going to run out of the car and give them some flyers... AND you know what... i did!
Lainey was crackin up and all i could hear was her saying... Oh my gawd babe!? ahahhaha... SHAMELESS! I was like... "hi... come to Hardsequence next week saturday, there's an event at Ruums... if u want presales for RM25 my number is there *point point*"... I MEAN COME ON, some stranger is giving you her number without hesitation... well hello there, NOW that's a first... ahahha.
Last words: I have no shame, i am wonder woman... wtf?
